Who We Are

Reberon Investments Co. Limited is a fully registered Ugandan construction and investment company incorporated in 2010 under the Companies Act No.1 of 2012. From humble beginnings in Kapchorwa, we have grown into a credible multi-sectoral firm delivering projects for government ministries, district local governments, international NGOs, and the private sector across Uganda.

Our core business is civil and building construction — educational infrastructure, health facilities, commercial buildings, water protection structures, and institutional developments. We are also active in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, imports & exports, and general supplies.

Over 15 years of operation, we have successfully delivered more than 25 construction contracts worth over UGX 14 billion, with our most recent contract signed in December 2025 with Bukwo District Local Government.

Community Protection

All sites are managed to protect neighbouring communities from dust, noise, vibration, and construction hazards.

Continuous Improvement

Regular environmental audits and lessons-learned reviews after each project to improve future performance.

Environmental & Social Management Plan (ESMP) — Key Components

💧 Water Quality & Drainage

  • Silt traps and sediment controls installed before earthworks commence
  • Dewatering discharge directed away from water bodies and drainage channels
  • Concrete washing water contained in lined pits — never released to drains
  • Fuel storage areas bunded to prevent spill contamination
  • Regular inspection of drainage systems throughout works

🌬 Dust & Air Quality

  • Water spraying of unpaved haul roads and exposed soils during dry periods
  • Cover sheets applied to all trucks carrying loose materials
  • Vegetation clearance limited to the minimum footprint required
  • Stockpiles stabilised with vegetation or barriers where practicable
  • Cement and lime handled to avoid fugitive dust at point of use

🔊 Noise & Vibration

  • Noisy works (breaking, drilling, piling) restricted to daytime hours only (7am–6pm)
  • Prior notice given to neighbouring communities before intensive operations
  • Machinery and generators maintained in good working order to reduce noise emissions
  • Vibration monitoring where work is adjacent to sensitive structures

🌿 Vegetation & Soil Management

  • Site clearance restricted to the defined project footprint
  • Topsoil stripped and stockpiled separately for reinstatement
  • Excavated spoil disposed of at approved sites — no illegal dumping
  • Post-construction vegetation reinstatement and landscaping where required
  • Invasive plant species removal where identified during site clearance

♻️ Waste Management

  • Construction and demolition waste sorted, reused, or disposed at licensed sites
  • Hazardous waste (oil, chemicals, batteries) segregated and collected by licensed handlers
  • Site waste management register maintained throughout construction
  • Burning of waste on site strictly prohibited
  • Recyclable materials (steel, timber, aggregate) recovered wherever possible

🏘 Community & Social Management

  • Community consultation meetings held before site mobilisation
  • Local community members prioritised for unskilled labour hiring
  • Clear grievance mechanism — contact person for site complaints posted on site board
  • Site access routes agreed with community to minimise disruption
  • Cultural and heritage sites identified and protected during works

🛡 Worker Health & Camp Management

  • Clean drinking water and adequate sanitation facilities provided for all workers
  • Workers housed in dignified, safe accommodation — no illegal squatting
  • Regular health and hygiene briefings for all site staff
  • HIV/AIDS awareness sessions provided at project commencement
  • Medical referral pathway established for injured or ill workers

🔍 Environmental Monitoring & Reporting

  • Weekly site environmental inspection conducted by Site Engineer
  • Monthly ESMP compliance report submitted to project supervisor
  • Environmental incidents reported within 24 hours with root cause analysis
  • Photographic records of pre-construction, during, and post-construction conditions
  • Final environmental clearance certificate obtained before site handover
Section 10

Health, Safety & Environment

Safety is embedded in every phase of our operations — not just a tender compliance requirement.

🦺 Personal Protective Equipment

  • Helmets & high-visibility vests (mandatory)
  • Safety boots and gloves on all sites
  • Eye and hearing protection as required
  • PPE compliance check at site entry daily

🚧 Site Safety Management

  • Designated Site Safety Officer per project
  • Daily toolbox talks before work commences
  • Site exclusion zones clearly marked and fenced
  • Incident recording, reporting, investigation

🌱 Environmental Compliance

  • ESMP implemented on every project
  • Controlled excavation and spoil disposal
  • Dust suppression and noise mitigation
  • Water body and soil contamination prevention

👶 Child & Adult Safeguarding

  • Zero child labour — absolute policy
  • Child safeguarding policy displayed on site
  • UN Convention on Rights of Child observed
  • Forced and compulsory labour prohibited

🏥 Emergency Preparedness

  • First aid kits maintained on all sites
  • Emergency response plan posted on site board
  • Nearest health facility pre-identified & contacted
  • Emergency contacts visible to all workers

📋 Regulatory Compliance

  • Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Act
  • NSSF contributions for all registered workers
  • Labour laws and minimum wage observed
  • Workmen's compensation as required by law
